Unscheduled Blessing 18 Jan 09

One of the bikes was battling so we pulled into East London to service the bikes. A massive thank you to Pastor Stef Davi and his family for inviting us into their house, and welcoming us as part of the family for the evening. Truely a vision of the family of God. Was awesome to have been able to worship at Nahoon Full Gospel Church of God,and be able to share about Human Traffiking!
Service Day 19 Jan 09

All 3 bikes went for respective services and are running well. Special thanks to Keith and his team at East London Vuka for your support, and excellent workmanship!
Bungee Eve 20 Jan 09

After a brief newspaper interview in Port Alfred we headed to PE to visit with Dean Batchelour, standing here in front of The Hill Church-his new congregation. After a familiar stay over we made our way to Plett, where we got the awesome blessing of visiting with my family in their amazing self-made home in the Tsitsikamma forest. It is so stunning here! I am so glad to be with my distant family once again! Tomorrow we'll be bungee jumping the highest jump in the world-Woohoo!
A place we like to call Home 21 Jan 09

Die Hel, nee- Die Hemel 23 Jan 09

We made it! Insanely hectic 60km to get into the heart of the Swartberg- switch on the terrain on our proposed route to get an idea. The view from the top of the valley was like no other with shafts of sunlight stroking the valley, this is where we decided to make camp- on the edge of the road. We cooked our ostrich egg and hit the sack for an early start to the southern most point of our magnificent continent!
Mam' Africa 24 Jan 09

We made it to the Mother City! 3500km in 12 days. An unforgettable journey- stunning deserts, lush mountain passes, refreshing coastal breezes and amazing, friendly people have all blessed our path. Now to find lunch...
Homeward Bound 26 Jan 09
Our last day in Cape Town was a bit all-over-the-show, with services running late, and the three of us splitting up; but it all worked out for the better- in incredible ways! We spent some time on Signal Hill watching the sunset, and taking some photo's etc. Tomorrow we hit the road once again, for a couple of full days riding to bring us home. Many thanks to Vuka Goodwood and Yamaha Roeland street for the excellent service- our bikes are feeling good and we are confident for the journey ahead. May God continue to be with us!
Oh for a prickly pear 27 Jan 09

Had a long day riding in the desert that is, Die Groot Karoo. 455km later; havin run out of petrol, lost one another and gotten chased off a prickly pear farm we pulled over and made camp next to the road.
Hopetown 28 Jan 09

Successfully traversed the Karoo! We continued onward into a solid storm (thank goodness for the legend rainsuite sponsored by Vuka! Well for the Vuka rider at least), and now find ourselves squattin in an abandoned hotel in a dead-end dorpie called Hopetown. All part of the journey, and we're loving it!
Viljoenskroon 29 Jan 09

With sore, aching bodies we pushed through 100km of rain to get to Viljoenskroon-as a tribute to our comrade who couldn't join us on the trip. Maybe next time buddy!? We pulled into this near-flooded town wondering what door of accomodation God was going to open for us. First people we chatted to offered us their old abandoned house for the evenin!
Yes we can!!! 30 Jan 09
